Fair rules, clearly stated.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Kiyan Tahmasebi, operating HAGWON X from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“HAGWON X,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use HAGWON X.

HAGWON X is an AI-assisted study platform that may provide tutoring conversations, study planning, quizzes, flashcards, mock exams, language practice, uploaded-material tools, learning records, and progress or mastery features.

HAGWON X is an evolving technology service and may contain errors, incomplete features, inaccurate outputs, interruptions, or data loss. We may add, modify, pause, or remove features as the product develops.

HAGWON X offers paid monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is shown on the Pricing page and at checkout. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the displayed price to your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through Settings or by contacting support@hagwonx.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Payments already made are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Users aged 18 or older may create their own accounts. Users aged 13–17 may use HAGWON X only with authorization and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 must not create or use their own HAGWON X account at this stage.

You must provide accurate information, use only your own account, protect your password and email access, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not sell, transfer, share, or impersonate an account.

If you authorize a parent connection, the linked parent may receive the progress information shown by that feature. Parent access does not include private chats or uploaded study documents.

You must not use HAGWON X to:

• break the law, facilitate harm, threaten or harass anyone, exploit a minor, or violate privacy or intellectual-property rights;
• access another person’s account or data, probe or bypass security, introduce malware, disrupt the service, or evade usage limits;
• use bots, scripts, scraping, bulk access, reverse engineering, or automated extraction except where we expressly authorize it;
• upload content you do not have the right to use, malicious files, executable code, or highly sensitive personal information;
• misrepresent AI output as verified fact or use the service to violate examination, school, university, or academic-integrity rules; or
• copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service, its datasets, or its protected interfaces without permission.

We may apply technical limits, investigate suspected abuse, and suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.

AI features generate probabilistic output from the information and instructions supplied to them. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, duplicated, or unsuitable for your situation. HAGWON X does not guarantee grades, admission, certification, or any educational outcome.

Verify important academic information using trusted textbooks, teachers, institutions, or primary sources. You remain responsible for how you use output and for compliance with applicable academic rules.

HAGWON X is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the UAE, police emergency assistance is available at 999 and ambulance services at 998.

You keep the rights you hold in prompts, answers, notes, uploads, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and format User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and operate HAGWON X as described in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to submit User Content. Do not upload confidential school records, government identifiers, financial information, medical information, another person’s private information, or copyrighted material you are not permitted to use.

You can delete individual study-library uploads through the product and permanently delete your account from Settings. If you cannot access your account, email support@hagwonx.com from the account email. Account deletion cannot be undone.

HAGWON X, its original software, interface, branding, design, and original materials are owned by the operator or used under license and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for lawful educational purposes.

Third-party software and content remain subject to their respective rights and licenses. No ownership right is transferred to you.

Our Privacy Policy explains the information collected by HAGWON X, how AI and service providers process it, international processing, retention, security, and your choices. By using HAGWON X, you acknowledge those practices.

We aim to keep HAGWON X useful and secure but do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, compatibility with every device, or continued availability of any feature. Maintenance, provider failures, capacity limits, security incidents, or product changes may interrupt access.

Keep your own copy of important study materials and do not use HAGWON X as the only place where important work is stored.

You may stop using the service at any time and may permanently delete your account from Settings. If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by contacting support@hagwonx.com. We may verify that the request comes from the account owner.

We may restrict, suspend, or close access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, unlawful conduct, abuse of providers or resources, or risks to users or the service. Where appropriate, we will provide a reason and an opportunity to contact us.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HAGWON X is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or suitable for a particular educational objective.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights or warranties that applicable consumer law does not permit us to exclude.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from reliance on AI output, service interruption, loss of user data, unauthorized use caused by your failure to protect credentials, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or violation of mandatory rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in Dubai, without removing any mandatory consumer protections available under the law that applies to you.

Before starting formal proceedings, please email support@hagwonx.com so we can try to resolve the concern. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be submitted to the competent courts or authorities in Dubai, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rights.

We may update these Terms as HAGWON X, its providers, legal structure, or product changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects users. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
